The Diamond Category at the International Star Award for Quality is awarded to organisations whose quality systems have been evaluated as exemplary across the full breadth of their operations. For Nak Fashion Group, the Geneva recognition in 2016 reflected quality control that runs from fabric sourcing and sampling through to in-line inspection and final AQL checks before export.
What was evaluated
BID's assessment considered the consistency and traceability of quality practice across the supply chain, including:
- Documented quality management systems across partner factories
- Consistency of product output across repeat production runs
- Supplier selection, auditing and ongoing performance monitoring
